Joan Didion describes with piercing clarity the trauma of sudden loss and the shock that comes with it. She is an amazing writer and this is one of her best.

Joan Didion's reviews
by: Lesley from Grief and Sympathy

Hi Tricia

Thanks for the recommendation. I had a look at the reviews which are quite mixed. It seems people either love or hate this book. Seems I'll have to read it to make up my own mind!

Anyway, for those who want to take a look, you can click the image below to see the reviews.

Memorial Magnolia Tree

The Magnolia is one of the earth's oldest plants, with a spectacular flower which dates back 95 million years.  What a beautiful specimen to commemorate a life.

These trees are grown by the foremost magnolia nursery in the country and they will send a variety most suited to the recipient's climate.

The flowers in spring will bring joy to the bereaved and help to heal their heart.
